How to save diagnostic logs from MSP360 Backup locally.


In some cases diagnostic information from the software can’t be sent to the MSP360 Support Team automatically due to connection related issues. In such situations, diagnostic information can be gathered manually in order to be sent via email later.


There are two ways to gather diagnostic logs:

Using Backup Agent graphical interface.

In the MSP360 Backup Agent open Tools tab and click Diagnostics

In the opened window click the Save Diagnostic Logs button in the bottom right, then choose the location where you want to store an archive with diagnostic information.

Using command line interface.

Open an elevated command prompt to create diagnostic information archive by using the following commands:

chdir {Backup software installation directory}
.\cbb.exe saveLog -p %userprofile%

You can use any reachable local destination instead of %userprofile%. For example:

chdir "C:\Program Files\CloudBerryLab\CloudBerry Backup"
.\cbb.exe saveLog -p C:\Logs\

Please make sure that the path you specify exists.
