Corrupted Backup Data Detected (code 2514)

Situation

A restore plan finishes with the following warning: Corrupted backup data detected. Some backup data is corrupted in the backup storage. Restore can be performed only with enabled 'Ignore Missing Data' option

Cause

This situation happens when some blocks in backup data set are missing or corrupted.

Solution

This restore plan will be set automatically to ignore missing blocks. This enable replacement of missed data by zero values on next restore plan run. You can now run the restore plan again to restore data that is not corrupted.
