Situation

A backup plan finishes with the following info message: The system is in a "Pending Reboot" state. To ensure successful restore, reboot the system to clear the "Pending Reboot" state. After the reboot, run the backup plan again.

Cause

This info message indicates that the system was in a "Pending Reboot" state during the backup plan run and requires to be restarted.

Solution

Reboot the affected system. After the system restarts, run the backup plan manually.
