Full Backup Executed Instead of Incremental (codes 1519-1521)
Situation
A backup plan terminates with one or both following warnings:
- Encryption settings changed. Encryption settings were changed. A full backup was executed
- Compression settings changed. Compression settings were changed. A full backup was executed
Cause
These warnings occur due to peculiarities of data structure on backup storage. If encryption or compression settings are changed in the backup plan, these changes require a full backup on the next run to guarantee a restore.
Solution
These warnings do not imply any user action and are designed to inform a user about a full backup execution since full backup may take much more time and space on backup storage than incremental backup of the same backup plan.
