Manage Storage Account Permissions

In some cases, you may need to hide storage management permissions in the Granular Permissions section for sub-administrators and restrict them to managing only a specific company. To do this, proceed as follows:

1. Open the Management Console.
2. Log in as administrator.
3. In the Organization menu, select the Administrators item.
4. In the list, find the administrator whose permissions you need to restrict, then click Edit.
5. Find the Manage Storage Account option.

• Once the Manage Storage Account check box is selected, the sub-administrator is granted the privilege to view and manage all storage accounts
• Once the Manage Storage Account check box is cleared, the sub-administrator can view and manage only the storage destination assigned to the company they are entitled to manage.

6. In the Companies access group, select the Specific Companies option.
7. Switch to the Companies tab, then click Create Company.

8. Find the company in the companies list, then click Edit.
9. Click Add Default Destination.

10. Specify the destination, then click Save.

The sub-administrator assigned to the selected company is able to manage the specified storage destination.
