Unauthorized Changes Were Detected (code 1013)

Situation

A backup or restore plan terminates with the following warning:

Cause

The occurrence of this error means that the plan signature is invalid. In most cases, it happens when the configuration file was modified manually or by a third party.

Solution

If you modified the configuration file yourself, click Accept Unauthorized Changes.

If you didn't modify anything but this error occurred, it is recommended to delete the plan for security reasons.

Although no malware aimed at backup software is known, possible sabotage by the human factor cannot be ruled out.
